Our trajectory is exciting….
at 13:11 17 Sep 2023

Great trip to Sheffield, lovely to see Kelham Island booming. Gardeners rest, Fat Cat, the Tavern and Wellington all going strong.

Shame the match day experience at a once great ground couldn’t match those of a nice ‘creamy’ pint at the aforementioned public house. From start (picking up tickets) to the game/finish (toilets overall state of the ground) shows how Chanseri is running the club at an incredibly low cost, does it remind you of anyone?

It highlights how lucky we have been with the new owners, and how they’ve not really made a misstep so far. Only enhancing my excitement this season, on to St Mary’s now.

My March report:

Now the dust has settled and I’m on the train home, review time:

On the whole an assured victory, with Sheffield Wednesday barely laying a glove on us & not having a shot on target!! Upon reflection i was needlessly worried having not got a second goal - though we had several chances and on another day we could have been 3 or 4-0 winners.

We had moments of controlling the game which resulted in some great team/individual moves - the one back-to-front where Ladapo should score - and the other where Hirst shoves a man off the ball, wins it high and should pass for an easy 2nd.

For me Burgess was man of the match, they had countless corners and free kicks (which we gave away softly) but burgess and co dealt with them all. The only half chances they created were from our lack of concentration/error.

Morsy/luongo as good as ever hunting in twos and if one misses out, the other sweeps up.

Davies going off with an injury that looked quite serious could be problematic but Williams came on and impressed.

Remarkable to see how both clubs have reacted to being promoted, and we should be quite smug with our trajectory in comparison (especially with their noise throughout last season). Dare I say their match on Tuesday V Boro is must win?

15 points from 18 is quite sensational really, even the more positive fan couldn’t have predicted this start, I see we’ve already matched the number of wins we had in our relegation season.

Top notch - I somehow got £42 return - having to stay over in Sheffield, suppose I will have to test some of the beer.....

Only some.

When they scored their first goal he lobbed the ball into the stand behind him.

Disney Florida

Just returned from here and stayed in a apartment complex called Blue Tree Resort and had everything we needed. A daily shuttle to parks then using Disney Transport to get about was incredibly easy. If we had a dinner reservation / needed to move abit quicker we would Uber/Lyft for lest than $15 a ride.

We went for 10 days and would recommend the Genie pass (what was fast pass) for a day or two just to skip some of the lines!

Stewards Last Night
at 13:46 26 Jan 2022

Why were there so many stewards/security last night?
Why did half look under 18?
Was it a council requirement?
Why were they all watching the game and not the safety of fans?

It was all very odd.

P.S I sat in block 116 near the scoreboard and 4 massive coins behind me who wouldn't stop slapping our backs and shoving us. Hope they never return to support my club Ipswich Town

Yes to proof, but the ticket doesn't have to be in the same name as the ticket holder:

What has happened to the club I loved?
at 11:00 4 Mar 2020

Honestly speechless.

Last night signifies yet another fall in to a deeper hole. A hole I didn’t think could get any deeper. What happens next in the hands of this disgraceful owner?

A manager who makes 6 (six!) changes and a debut for a lad who has never seen the bench. In a must win game!!!! Poor McGavin been treated like that and to take him off after 45mins.... if that’s how he treats our young players I fear for the future of our young side, especially if Lambert sees more than the end of this season!

Ultimately however, he leaves two/three of our best players on the bench (wolf/sears/bish). The man is utterly clueless, doesn’t know his best XI. Like I have said before Lambert is definitely not the answer!

I can’t even merit one player from yesterday. Not one showed an ounce of passion or drive in this ‘must win game’.

Absolute shambles and with the fixture list of Cov and Portsmouth to come at home, this is still going to get worse/ more painful before it gets better.

What happened to this club that I loved

Have we discussed QT yet?
at 10:51 27 Sep 2019

It did have an outcome but the house expected and prepared for only one outcome, Remain.

Would you be happy with the second vote to be either Deal or No deal then?

If the outcome was deal then are we not surrendering (bad choice of word?) to the E.U and they would have all the negotiating power?

I am always open for discussion, though, from what i have read and watched, Dan Hannan, has been most pivotal, especially his opening gambit on the brexit debate for the spectator.

Calling the outcome of the largest vote in British politics pathetic? Interesting.

If the original ballot paper had a third option of "leave with deal" I am certain it would be a different story/outcome - public had a choice and voted leave.

Simply calling for a peoples vote because remainers are not happy with the outcome should be out of the question, however, politics changes on a daily basis at the moment...

We have already had a peoples vote - the outcome was leave.

What we need is a General Election to give a party a majority in the house so they can just get on with it - Labour won't support this because the Lib Dems are taking votes away from them and could lead to a Conservative win.

Stadium:MK Screens

Anyone else find that when the 4 huge screens advertised anything with a white background it changed the whole scenery and colour in the pitch?

Found it rather irritating and still fail to find use for those things unless they put highly of the game in them.

Anyone know a London pub showing the Town game?
at 18:43 28 Nov 2018

I run a pub on the Holborn Viaduct, Fleet Place Pub & Bar

I will be buying it on iFollow and watching it in the private room I have, whilst doing other bits and pieces. Happy to allow fellow town supports in and watch....
