| News Comment | U18s Thrash West Ham, Coaches Watch Colchester at 11:20:46
Went to the Col U game yesterday. Garvan played well, and, unsurprisingly, much of the play went through him. Although Porter didn't play yesterday, I've seen him on quite a few occasions. IMO, he would not be a standout performer in The Championship; certainly no better than Leon Best. Eastman does OK for Colchester, but, again, I don't think he'd improve us. Kent would be a decent shout. Played well yesterday. |

Relax, people.... If there's one person who knows which academy products to keep on, it's Bryan Klug. |
| News Comment | Pringle: Now to Build on Huddersfield Win at 09:10:42
@Dissboyitf It's possible that Tommy Smith *might* just be good enough for the Premier League (with a decent right-sided central defender beside him). Don't forget, he's got heaps of international experience and has been to the World Cup. At his age, that's a lot of experience (in a position where experience makes all the difference). Agree that his form of late has been patchy though. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Gerks Has Been Outstanding at 08:44:32
Here's a sub headline I'd very much like to read: "Town boss Mick McCarthy has hailed his team's recent free-flowing attacking displays, despite criticism from some sections of the Blues' support earlier in the campaign. " |
| News Comment | Hyam Could Go Out on Loan at 13:32:07
BigHibbs, have you watched Colchester at all this season? With Garvan and Moncur fit, Hyam would not be in their starting line-up. Chepstowblue... I agree, with one minor amendment: we get Moncur in return! |

I also went to that match today. If Colchester didn't have such a dodgy defence they would be riding a lot higher in the division. Have thought for a while that I wouldn't be surprised if McCarthy was checking out Moncur. A very good player. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Chopra Never at Best For Me at 10:43:44
Brilliant! Quote of the season: “Does McCarthy feel he's currently short of a penalty area predator in the Chopra mould? 'I lacked a player like that when he was here.'" |
| News Comment | Klug: Category Two Not a Big Disadvantage at 12:08:39
Interesting. I think the salient bit is this: "There's never been a timescale put on it, but the owner and the manager are now looking on a long-term basis and this is part of it. I wouldn't have left Tottenham if I was coming into a situation where there was no value put on the work that we're doing here. I think that's a massive change." |

Are there any other cynics out there who suspect that Clegg is trying to butter IBC up so that they sell the land to Evans? KEEP PORTMAN ROAD IN THE COUNCIL'S HANDS AT ALL COSTS! |
