Jackson in Team of the Week
at 13:21:43

Most improved player from last season, when he was all too often being asked to play as a lone striker. That clearly doesn't suit his game, but in a pair he looks a much better player.

Accrington Stanley 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report

Lambert needs to learn some lessons. 1 man up front doesn't work for us, Judge is only average at best and Dozzell is too lightweight for Division 3.

Bolton Boss Departs Ahead of Town Visit
at 19:22:43

It's disgraceful the money that their near neighbours Man City and Man Utd spend, not just on transfers but player wages and this old and proud club are going to the wall. I'm ITFC through and through but we all know the game today is ruined by the "haves" and the dreams of the "have nots" become more and more unlikely.

Former Bury Defender Thompson Linked
at 14:07:50

Yes another right footed central defender. Amazing that the club let 2 decent quality left footers in Berra & Smith just leave for zero, when left footed central defenders are like gold dust. Utter bad management by McCarthy or Evans (or both)

Robins Set High Price for Webster as Villa Bid Turned Down
at 17:50:41

This sell on agreement can in theory go on and on then, so Bristol City could have a sell on, which in 3 years time when say Webster goes to Real Madrid from Man U for 100million (i know it's far fetched) they get 10 percent, we get another 10 percent of their profit and Portsmouth get a further 20 per cent of our profit...

Town at Cambridge United for Final Pre-Season Fixture
at 20:50:19

I'm sure we'd still be in the Championship if Mick was in charge. But at what price? It was awful during his last 2 years. Depressing and soulless. Most games I came home bored to tears. It's been awful this year but strangely looking forward to next season and full of hope. We know that football will be on the grass and not hoof ball .percentage cautious boring stuff next season. Good luck Mick with Ireland. It's good to see dinosaurs still roam the earth.

Nash: Disappointing Night But Positives From Season
at 12:03:38

I don't agree with the mantra of Paul Lambert and his staff with regards to the u23s and academy in that winning isn't important. Yes agree that success of the academy is measured on how many players progress to the 1st team, but surely a winning mentality is vitally important. That's certainly sadly lacking in the 1st team currently.

Lambert: We Never Deserved to Take Anything From the Game
at 08:21:39

Oh how we laughed some years ago when Evans took over the club with all his £millions, and at the same time Norwich faced relegation to the 3rd tier under the inept management of Bryan Gunn. Fast forward to now, and there is only one person responsible for our club's sad decline. Back in 1978 Delia was wearing blue and white when we went to Wembley and frankly I wish she had continued supporting ITFC as I look enviously up the A140 to Norwich.

Lambert: Probably the Story of the Season
at 20:26:33

Look at the stats. We dominated possession, we had more shots but somehow contrived to lose 2-0. It is a worry. Pre season after our relegation will be more of a psychological job to try to get these talented youngsters believe in themselves and develop a winning mentality. A striker that knows how to finish would help too!

Skuse: I Want to Stay and I Hope Chambo Does Too
at 09:34:05

Chambers and Skuse should be nailed on for next season. They are championship quality players with loads of experience to help our youngsters. In League 1 they will both be top players. A mix of our promising bright young players with the experience of these old McCarthy stalwarts, and there is much hope for next season. Having accepted the disaster of relegation, I'm quite looking forward to next season. A few new away grounds and a cheaper season ticket too.
