McCarthy Misses Out on Manager of the Month
at 13:16:55

Oh dear , it's Hegan rant time again. Please look at some old footage of Ireland and Wolves under Mick, and you will see that they played some terrific football. Unfortunately, you can only use the tools at hand and we are not blessed with sublimely gifted players at the moment. They cost money. We are a hard-working functional unit that wins matches, often very unprettily.
Never mind Hegan, perhaps Sir Royston will return on his white charger one day and get us promoted playing football Barcelona would envy.

Town Set to Sign Stephen Hunt

Was a superb player for Reading and Wolves so hopefully could be a good move. Incidentally, it is not a short-term loan as he is a free agent. He will be a permanent signing, albeit on a short-term contract.

O'Neill and Keane Sign Contracts
at 22:54:08

Ormey, what planet are you living on? By your logic you would be delighted if Keane were still in charge, still spending Marcus's millions and Town playing in League 1. Just as long as good old Sky and the BBC were following clown Keane.
Sometimes I think people should really think about what they post to save themselves the embarrasment of looking really stupid!

O'Neill and Keane Sign Contracts

Hegan, the football may be not be sparkling but think of where we are now compared to 12 months ago. Everyone also knocks Keane for a reason..........he was a cr*p manager who terrified the living daylights out of every player who played for him.

Delaney: McCarthy Amongst Potential Contenders
at 18:11:21

In reply to the likes of Hegan and Keaneish let's put a few things straight. I have watched every competitive Ireland game for over 25 years, as well as going to Euros in Poland last year. After Jack Charlton he is the most successful Irish manager of all time and his teams played attaractive passing football. In Korea they outplayed Spain and only lost on penalties. Had Keane not thrown his toys out of the pram and waited until the team returned home to air his, justifiable, grievances then they would probably have beaten them.
To the important question as to whether Mick would like to go back, I doubt it. The same self-serving idiots who stabbed him in the back first time around are still in charge at the FAI.
One final point; Martin O'Neill is a Northen Irish Catholic who managed Celtic. There would be no problem with the supporters with him being appointed.
