Lee: It Was a Mad Time to Work at the Club
at 17:30:15

'The King is dead long live the King'. The trouble for us the fans is that we mostly didn't realise fully what was going on. Looking back I now have a degree of understanding for both Mick M and PL . It must have been extremely difficult for them under ME. If what Alan Lee is telling us is the unadulterated story then this ship has been sinking for a long time and our future success is now in the hands of a far more professional group of owners and a manager with proper backing. Good luck to all those in charge of our beloved club and thank you for giving us the fans something to hope for over the next few years.

Blues Target Millers Midfielder Crooks
at 17:25:06

Great to see some serious height in the squad especially from midfield where so often we have been bullied off the ball without losing quality on the ball. Hope we get him as we have for far too long now been lightweight. You don't get out of this league with boys alone. Muscle and skill will be needed on a budget so Matt seems a good target to me.

Brilliant move for all concerned. He will bring a great deal of stability at the back as well as adding goal scoring chances from set pieces. Good luck Luke

Ashton: Too Big an Opportunity to Turn Down
at 20:18:08

Good Luck Mark and welcome to a club that out gunned some of the top of clubs in the country and Europe. I just worry at the amount of chiefs being brought in and little sign of any quality players. Is there going to be enough money in the bank to fund all this? The club has limped along for a long time cash strapped with little in the way of money available to buy decent players to get us out of this league and back at the top where this wonderful club should be. I just hope I live long enough to see this happen again having supported it since Sir Alf was the manager. Ambition on the pitch is what the supporters want to see and that costs a great deal of cash these days but time will tell. We're all keeping our fingers crossed in anticipation.

All the very best at Colchester. You will be a good servant there as you have been at Ipswich and the bonus is you won't have to move House.

Blues Linked With Former Pompey Keeper-Coach
at 12:37:39

Looks like finding actual quality players is much harder than PC thought. To be fair on last season's results who wants to come anyway. I hope this is not the case and that soon we shall see some decent players signing on the dotted line. Perhaps PC is being more circumspect and taking into account players less prone to injury before buying and in which case this can only be a good thing. I think we all must be patient and trust our new manager and the massive backroom staff that are joining the club. Good luck PC and I just hope it all works out. To be honest still a little concerned based on results towards the end of this season.

I hope this is not going to be the same next season. Not convinced about Cook. His stats are s**te. Hope I'm wrong but its getting embarrassing to be an IT supporter up here. Its never been this bad before even under Hurst. Bounce? Did I miss it? Disaster more like. Its going to be a summer like no other in the history of the club in 60 years of supporting my club.

Cook: To Go Away From Home and Win Was Important
at 07:20:54

One swallow doesn't mean it's summer. If we hadn't beaten Swindon, well that would have said it all. Cook talks the the talk and I hope it's not just wind so we will wait with bated breath for the new team to emerge. Just hope he finds the people he needs to get us out of this deep hole of misery compounded when a canary looks down from on high. Fark*** hell.
I am wondering who are going to get their P45's. Interesting to see who captained the team at Swindon! Shrewd move by Cook.

Cook: All the Decisions Have Been Made
at 16:57:50

All players seen laughing at the end of a lost match should be the first out of the door.
When Sir Bobby first came to the club he lost a lot of matches and had physical fights with unnamed players who he had problems with. However when he had kicked a few arses his teams started doing well. Cook's summing up here smacks of a similar approach and if it works then great. He needs to be seen as the boss not their friends harsh but true. PC gets my fullest support after this article because that's what this team needs. I had hoped he would be like this from the start but he was too nice. I hope he gives Oli Hawkins a chance because we need some height up front. Well done PC but the rant should have been kept behind closed doors. Otherwise how are we going to get any money for these wasters when we get rid. Good luck PC, we wait with bated breath.

Cook: First Half Possibly the Worst Performance From One of My Teams in My Whole Managerial Career
at 19:44:32

The cement has set. No current player will perform for him now. Big mistake slagging them off just keep feelings inside your head PC. There can only be another year in this division and I can only hope that next season we start winning because on current performances we will go down. I feel that the ship continues to sink but thank god we have owners now who won't tolerate failure and funds to change fortunes. I include players, trainers and managers.

Blues Host Wimbledon Aiming to Avenge Defeat and End Goal Drought
at 20:06:27

How long does it take for a sinking ship to hit the bottom. Possibly 4 matches. All I can say is its a good job we have enough points to not go down. Its been hard enough treading water in this league. All rests on PC next season's 10 results because by then we'll know what kind of management skills PC has with his own players and rid of the current losers.

Northampton Town 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 14:01:48

The Stats tell it all. PL had little or no money to spend but still managed to get results with these current players. PC the funny man has done absolutely diddly squat with the same players. Bad records and memories are not good starting points. If this man can't manage another win in the next four games it says it all. Churchman 81 is absolutely right. I am going to find it very hard to back PC with his record so far. Chopping and changing is a recipe for failure. Stick to a cohort of players, two up front Hawkins and another so we have a target man for crosses into the box. Yes there will have to be a few transfers in the summer but there will still be a few of the current squad here next year under contract. PC's constant tactical ideas are slowly undermining any system he inherited with terrible consequences. We have now lost any hope of getting to the playoffs and must be seen as three points in the bag for our opponents even relegation teams. After last nights result PC has dug deeper into the hole he has made for himself. As a new headmaster in a new school, change nothing in the first year until you can fully assess the task in front. Tweek but nothing more. PL had a lot of faults and he didn't have Culverhouse with him but more than than that he didn't have the money to spend because key players were let go easily and no extra funds to reinvest. I am hoping despite, PC's chaotic start that he will get at least one win before the end of the season, but judging on his current form I cannot realistically see this happening. What will be will be! COYB

Cook: Painful Nights Like These Hurt Me Deeply and I'm Sure They Hurt Our Supporters
at 22:44:10

Is PC really going to be our saviour or are we looking at another loser? Turning this sinking ship into a something approaching seaworthy is not looking good. I am in serious doubt. This has to be the lowest point since Paul Hurst left and that's saying something. The team has to be at its lowest point now surely. We can't even win against teams in relegation zones. Most of these same players were winning games albeit inconsistently under PL but not like this. I joked about a draw being a real possibility but losing 3-0 is just the pits. Hurting, you bet PC and if it doesn't stop sometime soon I doubt the new owners will think they have made an error of judgement in signing you. This is hardly an impressive beginning, poor players or no. This is hardly the premiership league. Disgusted is nothing like I am feeling, its much worse than that as a supporter since 1961.

Hawkins mmmmmmmmmmm can't remember who he is? With his height he could at least lift his body above the other players. Can't understand why he hasn't been part of a regular side. I had high hopes of his scoring goals, haha.
