It's a store of value. It's anti-inflationary. It's highly secure and transparent. There's inherent scarcity. Just 4 reasons for you. Look at how much Bitcoin it would've cost to buy a home 10 years ago and how much today. BTC is a hedge against quantitative easing i.e. maintaining your spending power. |

There's a very simple solution to evading bookies and that's by simply using betting exchanges instead. There, you can find value odds and your scale is only limited by the liquidity available on the other side of the book. It baffles me that the Betfair Exchange isn't the go-to platform for every sports bettor. So often I've had mates win on the National or something at 6/1 and I've said I got on at 10/1 at the Exchange. They're irritated for a second, but never once think to explore why that's the case and that the Exchange is just a fairer place for bettors and layers alike. [Post edited 11 Feb 13:03]

You're being unnecessarily nitty about this. Delap is in his first full season as a #9, in the toughest, most physically demanding league in the world. There's scientific evidence and data which backs that up. Yes, he's been a talisman for us, but it's also true that the prospect of burnout is real. With Hirst fit again, we have an opportunity to keep Delap fresher. |

Nope. He was benched for the Brighton game after Brizzle Rovers. Give the lad 4-5 games now. He's got the Champ quality, let him try and crack the top flight and McKenna's style. Yesterday he looked to have mastered the patterns of play and press triggers much more intelligently IMO. |

Really surprised no-one is calling for Jack Clarke to get back-to-back starts. The lad is crying out for some continuity and a chance to build some confidence. To bench him after Coventry would be a real shame IMO. Back 4 and keeper probably picks itself but the rest I'd go: Phillips Cajuste Omari (Johnson sub) Enciso (Broadhead sub) J. Clarke (Philogene sub) Delap (Hirst sub) |

Full story is he was due to return for Southampton but had a setback. Then pencilled in for Villa/Spurs, but medical team deemed him fit for full training last week... |

Okay. Well, I know it's not. Certain posters will know why I should. |

Yeah, he was nothing special for me. If anything, it was yet another example of him playing with the handbrake on IMO. |

He's fuming. Villa game was initial target but rushed back into training this week. This one's on the medical team. |

Pope Catholic?! It's just around the corner from me, so I'm a regular visitor to their shop. I say regular, not *that* regular because I normally have to remortgage first to afford their 12-can pack! |

CM2... Christ, those were the days! I badgered my mum to get it at Toys R Us, but we had a crappy 33Mhz PC and it took about an hour to even set up a save. Bliss. |

Yikes, just had a look at Companies House myself. Not a pretty picture whatsoever - and that's *before* this shambles. Ultimately, they are entirely beholden to Sega Europe. So long as they keep funding them, they'll survive (albeit they're probably something of a zombie company this year). |

We train as hard (or even harder?) as we play on gameday. I do wonder if that's starting to have an effect. You only have to look at Luton's squad this season to see how much last season took it out of them. We're going to need to overhaul the middle of the park next season, whichever league we're in. |
 | Forum Reply | Phil, do you know… at 13:25 4 Feb 2025
Lol, nope. His January contract offer would've made him one of our worst-paid players at the club in 2024/25. Feel wanted, much? |
 | Forum Reply | Lack of aggression at 13:23 4 Feb 2025
Said the same myself to people around me against Southampton. Morsy had multiple opportunities to stamp his authority on that midfield but looked almost timid in the tackle at times, very unlike him. |

Only marginally and had attributes which suit how Kieran likes to play... |

Hladky got 15 clean sheets last season, but wasn't deemed worthy of re-signing. |
 | Forum Reply | No new striker then at 21:57 3 Feb 2025
Kasper Dolberg? Akor Adams? (Prior to signing for Sevilla) Tolu Orokodare? Mika Biereth? All of which could've been picked up for £10m max |
 | Forum Reply | No new striker then at 21:09 3 Feb 2025
Because he's so far off the PL level that letting him play Champ football is better for his development. BUT, we surely had to do that on the proviso that we signed *someone*. If Delap tears his hamstring at Villa Park, we're literally facing a 75% fit George Hirst leading the line until May. That's not being unnecessarily negative, that's the reality we'd face. And it's quite possible considering how much we're having to flog young Delap in his first full season as a #9 (let alone first season in the PL!} The Iheanacho one feels strange to me. He has the PL physicality and speed which someone like Hirst lacks. He'd have been an ideal third choice option IMO. |
