Thanks for finding those. As you say. People will read what they want. There are other stats about shots saved, crosses claimed etc. Muric scores very well. Not got the time to find them as her indoors apparently has better things for us to do than discuss ‘supporters’ digging out one of their own. Constantly |

Yes the argument about distribution might be valid. But it’s not only about the man on the ball. It is also about the way his 10 team mates make themselves available for the ball, and the standard of the press. It’s not purely about Muric, these other factors are valid too. In my opinion, listening to 9ne or two ignorant idiots round me shout get rid when he has the ball at his feet does not help. And clearly is at odds with what KMcK is building our game on. He does have a part to play in the distribution issue and I don’t deny that. He has played the ball to people who have been under big pressure. But there is just more to it than him alone. |

Does it really matter. Yes, I think it does. It feeds an agenda that a small percentage have that Muric is not good enough. That then feeds a nervous energy in the stadium when he has the ball at his feet. KMcK has built back to back promotions on playing the ball from the back. Muric did that very poorly against Man City. Since then, I’d suggest he has been a very good keeper. I think posts from people like you, digging him out constantly reveal a lack of football knowledge. The first goal versus Bournemouth, and the Wolves equaliser both come down our right, as have others. I’d look there in this instance Not for a scapegoat (or even an escaped goat). But to see if there is a pattern. But more than that I’d trust KMcK’s selections, processes and tactics. And I’d be supportive of the players and team. And not look for that fabled scapegoat, which sadly Muric is proving to be |

Fantastic |
 | Forum Thread | Three main issues for me yesterday at 07:38 20 Oct 2024
School boy errors. Obviously Wes for the goal. But the pass from Phillips to Wolfie that lead to DCL’s one on one with Muric, then the touch by O’Shea on half way in the second that lead to a chance were another couple of examples The distance between Morsy/phillips and the 3 attacking players was pretty evident from earlyish in the first half and exploited by Everton. Not sure why that was not picked up on by either the coaches or the central two themselves. We didn’t seem to change that until the subs were made What seemed like a lack of confidence in themselves and their colleagues. A lack of belief. Not until the last 15-20 did we do any more than pass around a rigid system in front of Everton. Nobody had the kahunnas to pass more quickly, with greater penetration. We were also very static. It was like watching England for me. |

I agree. Our game the last two years was about the centre forward providing the platform for those around him to do the scoring. We have brought Smodiczs and Clarke, to compliment, Chaplin, Broadhead, Burns, and Omari, and all those seem to be to need Hirst more than Delap. I also feel that Delap after and hour or so would be a nightmare for tiring defenders |

It won’t go down well with some in here, but he certainly has an ego and that likes a good stroke. He has done a cracking job, and rightly deserves praise for that. But it is not at all sensible for anybody to be chairman and CEO of any company. |

Well apart from last season. According to MOTD |

I rather believe that super Kieran will identify the issues, the mistakes and we will be a better team after these two opening matches. Just hope the guys do ok in the second half and team and individual morale are fine for the game next week. Matches versus Liverpool and City should not define our season. |

It shows the achievement on a number of levels. Management, on and off the pitch. Coaching. Teamwork. Togetherness and resilience. Culture. Integrity. Humility. I could go on. These things start at the top. We have so many strands of leadership. Owners. CEO. McKenna. Morsy, but I have to say there are numerous players who show great leadership. What a club. The transformation from an utter shambles just a few years ago |

What a good game. Ball moved with speed to runners. Good old triangles with the occasional TARGETTEDlong ball. The antithesis of Eng er land |

I thought he spoke very well on the video for Pat Godbold’s birthday. He is a very positive, articulate advocate for our club, and represents us, the town and the county very well. Not sure I know what role, but I do know I want him involved. |
