 | News Comment | McKenna: We've Had High Expectation Before and Dealt With It Really Well at 07:52:08
Expectations bring pressure. The great thing about our promotion last time in the Championship was that very few expected it and most thought that we’d fall away as the season went on. This year we are favourites and teams will undoubtedly lift their game when they play us. I think it’ll be a draw against Brum and Saints to start before we pick up our first league win. |
 | News Comment | Town Not Looking to Sell Davis at 16:06:32
Doubt he would go to Leeds or another PL team unless he was going to be first-choice LB there which seems unlikely. With Townsend’s injury we need another LB not lose one. |
 | News Comment | Cajuste Set For Town Return at 18:54:02
I will believe it when it’s done and we can hopefully get a successful end to this saga. |
 | News Comment | Muric 'Closing in On Turkish Move' at 07:42:17
The guy could play brilliantly for 89 mins and then have one howler and that’s all some fans would remember. Not a bad keeper just didn’t work out for him at Town. Not one of our better bits of business I would say |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Barbrook a Big Positive, Trio of Youngsters to Be Assessed Over the Next Month at 18:48:33
Agreed Arnie. I know new signings are exciting but I’d keep all these youngsters and develop from within. Barbrook and Humphreys could be better than Hackney in a few years time if given the chance. They know the club, the players and McKenna’s coaching style and hopefully can stay fit. Don’t send them out on loan again please. |
 | News Comment | French Club Eyeing Al-Hamadi at 08:20:02
If he’s allowed to leave that means we must have one or two strikers lined up as we can’t go into a new season with just Hirsty. Hope one of them isn’t Ollie McThug |
 | News Comment | Veteran Ex-England International Young 'Likely' to Join Town at 15:26:17
I really don’t understand the logic behind this move. We have lost a lot of leadership and experience over the summer in Mass and Sam who still have lots of playing years ahead of them but we want to bring in someone who is in the very twilight of their playing career instead. If that’s the case, how come we didn’t bring in Aaron Cresswell who is familiar with the club and has a few more playing years in him than Young? Obviously I don’t know the club’s rationale for exploring this but it sounds like another Richard Keogh to me. |
 | News Comment | Burnley Confirm Tuanzebe Signing at 22:32:53
I was more gutted about Burgess going but losing Axel as well is a big blow to our defence. Best of luck to him. |
 | News Comment | Burgess Joins Swansea at 19:28:03
A very good player who I will miss seeing in a Town shirt Thanks for everything and good luck Cam |
 | News Comment | McKenna: I'm Confident We Can Challenge Next Season at 18:46:17
Agree Gforce, our net has been quite small in recent years and we’ve paid a lot more because they are mainly British players so I’d like to see increased overseas recruitment over the summer. Also makes for more exciting football to have a few flair players in the squad like Sarmiento, Enciso and Cajuste. |
 | News Comment | Forest Eyeing Davis at 12:35:27
Think Davis would be hard to replace. His assists last season were second to none so just play him further up the pitch with Townsend behind him. Best of both worlds. |
 | News Comment | Manchester United 'In Pole Position' For Delap at 19:54:54
Man Utd are a joke team at the moment but they will rise again. Not sure it will be as a result of Delap joining them but I wish him good luck cos he’s gonna need it if he goes there. |
