I’m definitely more optimistic that we can compete in this league now than I was before the season started. Think we have to win our home games against the bottom half teams like Fulham though to take advantage of fortress PR but I can see us picking up some points away as well. Watching Man Utd yesterday, I think we could beat them if we are at our best. |

Just like we said losses to Liverpool and ManC won’t define our season, this loss to the mighty Wimbledon won’t either so don’t panic, in McK we trust |

Jack Clarke is the only one who has impressed me so far. Phillips looks well off the pace as you’d expect, Ogbene not done much but Cajuste has shown a few signs of what he is capable of. |
| Forum Thread | The team that got us promoted last season at 22:49 27 Aug 2024
I know we had to sign new players to improve our chances of staying up this season but part of me would love to know how the team that got us promoted would’ve done in the Premier League if we had the same loan players as the end of last season ie Moore, Sarmiento and Hutchinson. How far would that team spirit, togetherness, familiarity and confidence have taken them do you think? Would they have been able to make the step up or just get beat every week? I don’t know why but of all the signings and potential signings this transfer window I’m most pleased with the return of Hutchinson and most excited about getting Szmodics. I think they could score 30 goals between them this season. If he stays fit and McK can get the best out of him, Phillips has the potential to be a gamechanger for us but for some reason I’m a little sceptical about him. |

Carrick isn’t doing McKenna any favours with these tactics |

Much as Boro looked good against us, my fear is that they will probably be sh1te against Leeds. I don’t buy this ‘Carrick doing his mate a favour’ thing otherwise he would’ve let us win at PR. We just have to do this ourselves and not rely on other results/teams. COYB! |

They’ve done a number on Saints as they did on us |

I’m not sure how Sky pick their pundits but at least Clinton Morrison and Paul Merson are entertaining but Tim Sherwood - what does he offer? And Gareth Ainsworth ffs! I’d rather hear from Neil Warnock than them as at least he knows the Championship inside out |
| Forum Thread | I just have a nagging doubt that we’ve drawn too many games this season at 16:26 14 Apr 2024
Of course, it’s amazing to have only lost 6 games in the Championship at this stage of the season but I think if we had taken a few more risks and pushed a bit harder to win 2 or 3 of those games and maybe lost 2 or 3 others, we’d be 5-7 points ahead by now. I can see us drawing at least one more game of the last three if we don’t go all out for the win. Am I being unfair on McK and the team do you think? |

Let them have their moment of glory. They won’t win anything again this year so they are entitled to celebrate these little victories. |
| Forum Thread | You’ve got to admire Brighton at 15:26 1 Sep 2023
I only hope that we can emulate Brighton over the coming years as you have to admit their transfer business in that last few windows has been outstanding. It doesn’t seem to matter who they sell, they always manage to bring in some gems who seem to be more than suitable replacements and for a lot less money |
