Was decent enough last season but seemed to run out of steam an awful lot in games without ever running the game.
Would probably have more impact at the lower level of championship but I have doubts as to whether we could hang our hats on him for a gruelling 46 game season.
I would happily welcome him if he signs as I would any signings but will not be devastated if he goes elsewhere |

I really don’t get the moaning about Blue Action.
They really give an awful lot to improving the atmosphere and it seems take criticism on board and try to take other fans into consideration.
Without them the atmosphere would be considerably poorer.
To the youngsters coming to their first game the atmosphere is all part of it and the colour and noise and adrenaline are what can make people want to come back again and again to keep the fanbase regenerating |

It’s the first stoppage in play at the never ending corner that irked me the most. The corner had been taken and at least 2 players had touched the ball before the ref stopped the game. VAR then correctly said if there had been an offence then it was before the ball was live.
But the ball was live when the referee stopped the game so therefore the game should surely restart as it stopped with a drop ball. I have seen this happen in games this season.
By giving Brentford chance to take the corner again surely if they gave them an unfair advantage?
If a game is stopped just after a corner is taken due to a clash of heads would they have restarted with a corner? No |

I just can’t see how many more people and therefore money this pool will attract in comparison to Crown Pools does. The space in between Portman Road and Princes Street is well placed for something to actually get extra people coming into Ipswich. For me moving a municipal pool to there would not do this. Restaurants, Sports Bars, conference and events space possibly for concerts, PDC darts etc will get people especially those who only come in from out of town for ITFC matches to possibly spend more time and money in the area |

This saga is getting towards Philogene proportions but with no other teams seemingly involved. I actually feel sorry for the player who is in limbo and probably desperate to get here and integrate into the squad here. If he eventually does sign here it will feel like he’s due a testimonial he’s been linked with us for so long!
Difficult balancing act I’m sure for the club to not overpay but also not to miss out on a good player due to not offering enough but KMcK’s comments on Saturday suggest he is eager to add players ASAP and is possibly getting frustrated |

I do think that the area would be a lot better served by facilities that link into the football club and what spectators will actually do on matchday and things that people will come to the town for. Restaurants, sports bars. Perhaps a little retail, more than one hotel a venue that has a big enough capacity for pop concerts, PDC darts or massive conferences.
The football club will be the pull to get people to Ipswich and the council needs to get on board. A swimming pool won’t do it for me |
