Some of them seem to these days which is crazy but I guess it’s just the way of it nowadays. Thankfully we have a relentless supply of Oxygen from Mr Ashton to make sure that things get done! |

Judging how long drawn out the Cajuste and Akpom signing took I’m not expecting an announcement today. Or tomorrow either but would love to be wrong |

I remember that change and I seem to recall the prices went down too. I have used the coaches many times over the years and they are convenient especially if you live in Ipswich. Using them for PNE as looked into trains and it’s a quarter of the price to use the coach although I suspect it will get us there ridiculously early so hopefully there will be an away fans friendly pub near Deepdale. I last went there in 2002/3 season so can’t remember the pub options |

Defensively I thought he was okay but he worried me when he had the ball as his feet and was looking to pass or run. |

What some people seem to be missing here is that the comments on why Omari didn’t play are coming from McKenna not rumours or here say. McKenna is a clever man and a smart cookie so I cannot for one second imagine him saying what he said if there was any chance that the player was suffering mental illness. It would be so unlike him. The words do point towards the player acting on “advice “ from others outside the club and that club has tried with the player to get him to act differently. All in all it’s now lead to one of our best players making himself unavailable which is doing no one any good but it’s hard to see him playing for the club again |

This 1000%. I have been going to away games since the mid 1980’s, done the “hard yards” in the past from Newcastle to Plymouth and many places in between but only for a few times each season, doing different ones each time . Work and health meant I only got to 4 away games in 23/24 season so last season was only able to go to Coventry and this season, if I am lucky, possibly get to one or two with large allocations. I accept that those who have done all the games in the last two seasons deserve a ticket more than me. What I do fear though is that the same 2000 people will buy tickets for every away game and if they can’t go or decide they won’t go, they will just sell the tickets on to people who they know. That is not right but I really don’t know what the answer is to it |

I think getting the remaining 2 or 3 signings that the club will be trying to make could prove very difficult due to clubs not wanting to sell to a divisional rival or players not being Interested as we aren’t in the top flight. I can see us having to use the loan market instead where we can get quality players that would be beyond us financially on a permanent basis but owning wants them to get experience |

Any idea on scorers or lineups? I thought I found some footage on YouTube but it was a fixed camera not looking at the game but just the heads of 2 Lowestoft fans as they watched the game |

Probably 1000+. Been trying to sing them in my head at work which is not good for productivity |

An issue with this however they try to deal with this is the lack of consistency from Referees including VAR with the decisions seemingly differing from week to week depending on who the officials are and unfortunately who the opposition is. Until that is sorted out, whatever rule changes are brought in, teams will find ways(often illegally) around it and so often certain teams will get the benefits of decision going their way more than it should based on how they are able to manage the referee. I have a memory of us playing Reading away under Mick and all 3 goals came from penalties given for holding or pulling in the area but it didn’t to my knowledge happen in any other games so I guess ref was told he went too far? |

Barry (Lovely Goal)Davies, Martin Tyler and Motty I remember fondly. Finding old Football highlights shows on YouTube I especially enjoy Hugh Johns commentary who seemed to cover Midland games. Not a fan of the current premier league ones especially Peter(RASMUS HOJLUND)Drury whose name he shouts as though it’s a certain goal but it never is!but quite enjoy listening to Gary Weaver who does Champ games. The old radio 2 football commentators were a brilliant listen painting a picture without leaving dead air |

I seem to recall they get more excited about selling out the car park instead of the actual seats in the stadium |
 | Forum Reply | Clear footage that shows the ball was in play for two seconds before he blew up. at 10:41 11 May 2025
This is of course true. As is the statement that had the referee not incorrectly allowed the corner to be taken 3 times then the goal would not have happened. Both are true. Had he correctly given the drop ball what would have happened after that no-one knows. At least yesterday the players didn’t capitulate this time and really pushed towards the end. I must say though I am looking forward to next season not having VAR sucking the life out of games with their checking of some incidents taking for ever with others barely being checked at all. |
