Shame we didn't extend the earlybird with Hurst being confirmed
at 11:10 7 Jun 2018

Yeah, on the face of it it does seem silly that I dont just purchase one. Like you say, everyone has to miss a few games. I think not having one is just seen as a safety net for my wife as its not a full commitment. Which is also funny as when I go to games, and take the kids, shes usually happy to have that time to herself to do whatever she does. A season ticket to her just makes it more set in stone that i'm going and i get away with enough to not force the issue. She even comes too a few times a season.

Personally i'm hoping that the prices stay around the same. I get my free ticket and the kids free tickets too so that helps and is good. I dont mind moving seats although i see the appeal of staying in one place and knowing the people around you. I tend to stay in a similar area although if mi not on my own i'll move.

I did question going a few times last season with the atmosphere and the poor displays, thinking i wont lose out as with not having the season ticket, yet i still went, and paid, as i'd just miss it too much, and you cant beat footie on a Saturday when you watch your team. In some ways i'm more of a "mug*" than those who waited to see who'd take over before buying a ST and having to pay more.

*Know one is a mug for making a choice / decision thats right for them however.

I personally feel that if people didn't get one before the early bird deadline passed (waiting to see who came in as manager etc) then they pay the price and thats the way it is. They had the option but chose not to wait and the loyalty of people who did sign up early is rewarded (slightly) in the price they paid.

I dont have a season ticket and never have. The irony of that is that I go to all but about 4 home games a season and at least 4/5 away games and have held a membership / silver card for 20 years. I dont have one as i know a few of the evening games I will be working and that my wife will "winge" that ive commited to every game when the odd exception comes up where i dont go on a saturday and she has "plans" for us so theres no conflict of me having pre paid for the game. Yet if I just purchased one id save myself a bit of cash over the season. It just seems that if i dont have one she sees that once in a while she can drag me elsewhere and so its not a full commitment. If I were to buy one, itd be early bird everytime as I support the club, regardless who the boss or owner are, and id get that slight saving. Each to their own as many have reasons for / against buying and thats fine of course.

ITFC's Worst Ever Player

In my humble opinion I would say Matt Richards.
I would also possibly add Lee Bowyer too, and agree that Ivar, bajner, and Best should be there or there abouts. And I can never fault Douglas' commitment but he can't be far away either. I've never seen a player attempt so many over head clearances but manage to hit themselves in the face as much as he does!
