Got to be Fulham.

Really simple task - win and you stay up. Instead they shat the bed in the most fantastic manner.

Why are people trying to paint the club in as bad a light as possible regarding the refund scheme?

If you take the 'staged refunds' out of the equation, this is definitely one of the more generous schemes I've seen so far.

If he's self-employed then I wouldn't - he's able to set whatever rates he's happy with.

Backtracking already, I see.

Earlier in the thread you claim to know someone who's been shown the template, and now you're just saying you've been putting two and two together...

Essentially you're making sh*t up in a vain attempt to look good on the internet.

Go on then. If you're so certain that you know, then tell us what colour it'll be.

So your ITK mate told you the template that's being used, and that it's a colour we've had before, but didn't tell you which colour?

I'm calling BS.

The state of some of the melts on Twitter

It's almost as if these folks don't think the club has run the whole scheme past the legal team to check that they're actually allowed to do what they're offering...

Source?

Nothing the club has put out on Twitter points to that. All indications are that the vouchers will be treated the same as cash.

ST Refund Options

You're comparing apples with oranges.

Poor customer service shown to ONE fan, versus the prospect of having to give cash refunds to 10,000-odd fans.

If it was a single £100-odd refund perhaps I'd agree with you, but given that refunding £1m in one go would destroy the club's finances, forgive me if I think you're being a bit of a d*ck here.

I am sure that if you legitimately cannot survive without getting your £79.55 refund ((£350/22)*5) immediately, the club would be happy to help out if you were to contact them.

Otherwise a little perspective probably wouldn't go amiss.

How do "cash" vouchers work?
at 12:08 8 Jul 2020

Looking at the responses from the club on Twitter, it seems as if there are no restrictions on what you can spend them on, or minimum purchases.

Don't get me wrong, I've no issue at all with anyone claiming a cash refund from the club. But to take the time to go onto Twitter and seemingly gloat about having done so?

So how much is the refund?
at 11:42 8 Jul 2020

It's a pretty simple calculation.

Take the amount you paid for your ST, divide by 22/23 (I don't know if the Bury game is being counted), and then multiply by five.

Indeed - especially given that a lot of schemes I've seen offered by other clubs haven't added any value to non-refund options.

One chap on Twitter is mouthing off, saying that if his oven was faulty he'd expect an immediate refund, so why should ITFC be any different.

People don't seem to understand just how carefully the club has got to manage its finances over the next year or so. You can have an immediate 100% refund, or you can have a club to support - your choice.

Look good to me, especially the fact that any option which doesn't involve getting the cash back comes with a 25%-50% incentive attached.

No doubt some will be irked by the way any refund will be spread out, but I can pretty much understand where the club is coming from given the potential sums involved.

Challenging a spurious/petty insurance claim
at 10:42 8 Jul 2020

But seemingly in this case, the claimant has noticed the damage, known the alleged cause, but not disclosed having know the cause when they made the initial claim? Otherwise surely I'd have heard about it before now?

To my mind that's pointing toward the ex-in-law even more. He'll have no doubt claimed for the damaged door 18-or-so months ago when it happened (he's that anal about his car), and has now seen an opportunity to have a sneaky attempt at getting his excess back.
