We had chances but blew it again. Defence didn't cope well and wasn't clearing ball away therefore inviting more pressure. MM chose side not to lose using Douglas as extra cover but it didn't work as Reading had too much space and time.
MM should pick Webster and decide between Smith and Berra.

Our midfield 3 was anonymous and our fulbacks totally outclassed.

Bringing on Varney for Ward was laughable but sadly predictable.

Very poor from all concerned.

No Best, no Lawrence, no Grant.

Very strange from MM

Another excellent performance from our brave boys, led by the master tactician, especially where dynamic galvanising substitutions are concerned. The sight of Luke Varney trudging onto the field must frighten the life out of the opposition defence ; then there's the only footballer made out of feathers, Teddy Bishop. I'm really not going to watch this stuff anymore, even for free.

Mick has taken us back to the Stone Age and Marcus Evans is responsible. Any owner who puts their name on the front of the shirts of the team they own is not wired up right.

A team littered with journeymen footballing characters more adept at heading the ball and putting in a tough man tackle than playing the beautiful game.

Poor team selection from the onset, poor substitutions and made far too late. I have defended Chambers, even recently on TWTD, but today he was taken to the cleaners and is starting to get too hot headed and not calming the team.
Reading looked quite ordinary apart from Beerens, but we defended far too deep, never giving Pitman any proper support, Ward and Sears having to do covering work when they should be attacking.
A back four should be capable of looking after themselves, to have two midfielders and two attackers having to help do their work is a joke.
We have far better footballers warming the bench than those picked today, BUT we must start going for a win home and away, get on the front foot, attack is the best form of defence.

Poor game, poor performance, poor tactics, dire ref. Chambers must be dropped.

What's the point of signing players to sit on the bench when the old favourites continue to underperform . We still continue with playing 3 players out of position and our skipper gets low ratings every week

It's time for changes .................shame the manager is too stubborn to do it

what a poor performance again to be shown Sky TV,we may be well organised and drilled in midfield/defence but we have absolutely no idea going forward. Lets be honest with Pitman and Sears as our main strike force we are not going to score many goals and we must have the worst right back in the league. You can see that most teams target this. How does Smith keep Webster out ? I think we deserved a point but what was Knudsen doing Reading and the Referee were just waiting for that in the last minute. Two very poor sides, as a season ticket holder i feel that it is going to be a very long season. Come on Mick the Ipswich fans deserve better.
