| Forum Reply | anyone on here had a meniscus tear? at 23:12 18 Jan 2023
Had a reconstruction of my right knee 25 yrs ago Acl, Mcl rupture and Pcl stretched. Left knee slight rupture/strain no surgery needed. Now 25 yrs later and several meniscus tears climbing or descending stairs can be very painful with arthritis now in both knees and cartilage thinner on inside of knees (handy as I work in construction building industry). My advice would be once healed keep fit stay in shape and focus on strength with leg training. Cycle, swimming and weight training. It is also worth checking out knees over toes on YouTube as a different approach to bullit proofing your knees for the rest of your life. |

Nope cannot agree with you there, as someone who lives in the deepest parts of North Norfolk I can assure you they are more with obsessed with us and seems more than their own club. The yellow and green colours only come out when they are successful 🤔 (doing well) and in recent years they still bang on about their record over us and forgetting the previous 50 years. Hope that clears that up. |

Not too bad until the anaesthetic wears off then it’s like you have been kicked in the balls only for the pain to linger. Make sure you ice it regularly is the best medicine and please refrain from sex unlike myself two days later as I felt like I had then been kicked in the balls by the whole football team. |

Grew up on the north Norfolk coast and currently live there well just outside the town which is better for the silly season and the town is packed. Anyway would recommend the kings head as a pub restaurant, hot rocks and for chips the best is No 1. Highly recommended but outside of Cromer is The gunton arms (might have trouble booking a table) or it’s newish sister pub restaurant the Suffield arms all within 10-15mins by car. If you do go check out the Artwork at both establishments quite an eclectic taste from a piece in the Harry Potter film to some very erotic images. Food is top notch and won’t be disappointed. |

Completely right on this one, all player rumours come from 3 sources, 1, Club itself 2, Players Agent (game playing no pun) 3, Player itself but very rare If you read these stories between the lines you start to see the patterns and where they are coming from. E.g. Jermaine Defoe complete non starter which I would put down as the agent fishing for interest for one last payday, we have recently had a takeover with cash circulating. |

Lakewell said look beyond the Race Claim into the shooting of Gail Vella, Now if you take away the words Race Claim from Carmichael you are left with the letter H ohh mind blown 🤯. Personally I think H is Deputy Chief Constable Wise. As for the OCG they deal in a lot of burner phones apparently good money in that. [Post edited 1 May 2021 14:41]

Yes indeed very true, you could also add in that the squad is not fit enough and have been coasting the last couple of years. Maybe it is the players fault but as recent developments this week have happened we cannot even do double sessions for consecutive days. That is down to the last management team. One of the biggest factors to also consider is Confidence in the player and team itself which is showing each and every game. |
| Forum Reply | Any lower back sufferers on TWTD? at 20:07 15 Mar 2021
My lower back pain and being in chronic pain ever since, Mine all started in 2002 with muscle pain in the lower back on the right side, still playing football under the influence of a couple of 400mg ibuprofen before and after the game I managed to continue this for several months. All I can put this down to was pulling a muscle while carrying a sheet of ply up a staircase and twisted too much but looking back that was the start. Around six months later it started to turn into sciatica and the longer it went on over the coming days it got worse finally causing pain in my toes. When it reaches all the way down there then you have significant pressure on your nerves from a prolapsed disc resulting in seeking treatment from a chiropractor which after 3 visits had put me off work for three days and five days bed rest with a sharp pain like a knife being stuck in your back everything time I put weight on that side. Still coping with the sciatic pain about 4 months later I turned over in bed to awake in the most incredible pain I have ever felt(3 months of work and rehabilitation), it was then I found out I had finally prolapsed 2 discs in my lower back. After being up all night in agony the next day I was given Co-codomol 30-500mg as my first painkiller which to this day am still on. I have had pregablin (too tired to work) gabapentin, trammadol, about 6 others all to no avail with permanent damage to my nerves in that area. Some solace came from Morphine sulphate as well as maximum doses of Co Codomol with the only operation available at the time was to fuse the vertebrae 3 of them but was advised against it due to limited movement saying to put up with the pain after 5 years of this and constant thoughts of wanting to end my existence from the constant chronic pain I was living with which led to battling with depression which like most blokes I kept to myself I finally sought help by going back to the specialist. At the time the Nhs push forward with appointments to private hospitals and I took that up with a MRI and a follow up to discuss a Micro disectomy where they cut away the protruding discs. One month later it was all done and a follow up to say it had gone well but I’m stuck with the nerve pain as the discs over that time had gummed or stuck to the spinal nerves and had to be scraped away (another 3 months off and rehabilitation) I work in construction as a site carpenter since 2012 formerly in a joinery shop before then. I suffer with the pain each and every day with the co codamol 30 -500 mg only being the common denominator in pain relief and leaving it too long I get bad cramp in my right leg to the point of the leg wanting to seize up. Tried all the steroid injections to no avail and only other option is a nerve stimulator inserted into the lower back connected with the 10year battery inserted into on of the buttocks. Apologies if a little long but here is my story and it took 2 years to find out what was really wrong as so called doctors thought I was swinging it as I could move okay still touch my toes etc. I wouldn’t bother with a chiropractor and focus on the MRI straight away while making sure your posture is good especially at rest times. A good core is essential to cope with lower back pain and like yourself have found Cycling the best exercise along with swimming also thinking about Yoga and one to look at is Diamond Dallas Page’s (famous wrestler) yoga course Have heard great things from fellow workers to check out a Steve Kirby who runs get fit stay fit a neuromuscular and rehabilitation clinic near Norwich, www.getfitstayfitnorfolk.co.uk |
| Forum Reply | Players I would get rid of at 23:40 6 Mar 2021
Dozzell ?? I would like to know the reasoning behind wanting him out as on his day is one of the best passers of the ball in the team, only weakness is his strength (can be overcome with growth and training) but if he was more of a Flynn downes strength wise then he would of been picked up by another club last summer. As for the loans they will all be back at their respective clubs come end of season with only Troy parrot (Luke Thomas Injured) showing anything in recent weeks. |
| Forum Reply | Best Hoover. at 06:58 6 Mar 2021
First of all you need to base this decision off type of floors you have Carpet, laminate or wood flooring then take into account if you have pets with a coat that sheds itself regular. Laminate/wood flooring I would go cordless and your options here are the two mentioned above but you can also add in the Gtech. Carpet you will need a Hoover with a tail or cord here, I have heard good and bad on all three makes while being impressed with the anti tangle - pet hair Shark I have at the moment and having a Henry before and still using as a car hoover now. Henry is a good all rounder and downside is the quality of the plastic hose in recent years having replaced it a third time. Shark is my favourite with the massive suction and ability to remove the pet hair but it is only 8 months old. |

Has to be the Chocolate hobknob but you need to double dunk by placing both chocolate sides facing each other, once grasped the extra weight in your fingers a 1-2 sec dunk and now be prepared for the texture and taste explosion going off at the same time. |
