What sort of fan does this make me in the grand scheme?

A fan who enjoys going to new grounds?

A fan who enjoys away games?

You are correct on both points

It is a new ground for me but that's not so much the reason that I'm going. After the last few months PR really has lost it's appeal. It's hard to justify attending a home game these days and I never thought that'd be the case.

I can't bear (bare?) to not watch us at all though, hence the away days. I think I'm maybe just a little desperate to hang on to some aspect of the club without attending what could turn into a very toxic PR soon.

Having cancelled your season ticket presumably you are no longer eligible to but a Burton ticket at this time. Unless you mean you have cancelled your direct debit and not told the club.

A sensible one.

I know that was then, but it could be again..
