Who says more money is going in to bonds? Even if some money is being switched from riskier, more volatile assets (e.g. equities) into less risky, less volatile assets (e.g. short dated bonds) asset prices can still all move downwards. | |

Haha of course it is! Democracy is a sham but that's because it's been turned into one.
If they had shown a little back bone they could have stopped a lot of the worst developments from happening, stopped deregulation etc.
Electing Labour would make an obvious difference, but it's one government, for a small period of time, in one nation.
We've got to the point now where everything needs to be global to have an effect.
If you want to be really depressed, I doubt any global revolutionary action will take place until it looks like our days on earth are numbered. That's the only thing that will make people truly work together. Or not. | |
