Mick staying or going...

Is it Evans' option or Mick's option?

One assumes if Mick wants it, he will get another year. I'm not sure I see Evans forcing him out.

I might be wrong, but my understanding is that the club (ME) have a 2 year option, which they can take up, whether MM wants to stay or not.

They can not take a 1 year option either, unless a new contract is agreed, so it is either 2 more years or none.

Thought the club has the option of a two year extension but Mick has the option to refuse it. Crazy!

It is Evans’ option to trigger. MM can’t refuse it apparently, but we won’t hold him here against his will.

So effectively the same thing!
