was it the 85 'uprising' as i was working up in the city on the first Mc Donalds Lord street at the time and actually went over to Toxteth in a cab on, i think a Monday night during the outbreak of the troubles. Fond memories and a soft spot for Liverpool, so pleased they won tonight! |

They have a massively higher proportion of scumbags compared to most teams.
Despite their constant protestations (Hillsborough aside) their actions consistently prove this again and again and again.
I don't particularly like Real Madrid but I hope they batter them in the final.
I would probably support any other English team (apart from the obvious other) in a European final. [Post edited 3 May 2018 13:21]

If the younger lot were around in the 70's and 80's they would understand.
Stuff your Man U, Leeds, Millwall etc - they are nothing compared with Liverpool. The difference is that whilst the former will beat you up, Scousers will also rob you and your wife and children.
Many people on here will remember Kempy (RIP) he had his trainers nicked from his feet once.
Years ago EVERY time Liverpool were in town there would be public announcements in the ground "Pickpocketers are operating within the stadium". It didn't happen when Everton came. | |
