Just watching the preview for the play off final and noticed that we are in the top 4th in the list for the longest wait for promotion of 18 years when Burley finally got us up in 2000. Fulham are 5th with 17 years when Tigaba got them up in 2001. If we don't go up next year we will occupy 4th and 5th....impressive hey..

Edit - if it's gaps between promotions it's 8 years. They've found an extra decade somewhere. We currently haven't had a promotion for 18 years. [Post edited 25 May 2018 20:04]

I was thinking you meant longest wait since a promotion, which would be 18 years. Having said that, the likes of the top premier league teams would all be longer innit. | |
