Biggest England game of my lifetime I reckon.

Had no idea I could be as excited for an international game

Poll: Would we sell out our allocation for Wembley for a PJ Trophy final?

Rommers do you BELIEVE?

Watched the Columbia game in the pub, it was packed so got there at 5:30, half an hour before all my mates because I was so paranoid about not getting a seat. Unfortunately that meant I had had one too many by the time the match finished at 10. Ended up chatting to a random Australian couple and telling them I loved them because of the Commonwealth, despite me being a Republican 😂

I was meant to go busking today, but my voice hasn't yet recovered 3 days on, it was crazy. I'm almost happy we conceded that last minute goal for the even-better-than-Barnsley-away scenes at the end of the penalties.

On the face of it this is the biggest since Portugal in 06; however, there's an argument that it's the biggest since Cameroon in 1990, as its a WC QF we're going into as (slight) favourites.

You know the drill tho Rommers - it sure as fck won't be straight-forward.

Come on England.

I think France will do Brazil in the semi finals, although before the tournament I had Brazil down as finalists

I didn’t get to see this afternoon’s game but watching Brazil v Belgium makes me very happy we have Sweden tomorrow.

But as you say, nothing is ever that straight forwards.

Enjoy the day and hope it gets 'bigger' for you. I had mine way back when in 66 as a 11 year old and still remember so much about it as if it was yesterday, mind you i wasn't old enough for alcohol to cloud my memories!
