to David Lineghan. Everything about him reminds me of DL.

Bit harsh, every time we saw a horsebox,of trailer, going to away games the kids used to say his name.

Like how one possibly introduced the term 'hoofball' to Town and the other can quite confidently play out with the ball? Yeah, like 2 peas in a pod.

Typical commentary under Duncan 'Linighan gets the ball, hooooooof'

John Wark reckons that he was the best value-for-money player that we ever purchased (or something like that).

Considering that we paid a similar amount for both Muhren and Thijssen (and that Wark played with both of course), that is some accolade!

Not sure about that.

But Pennington does have a unique style of always seeming back on his heels. I think it's the way he naturally leans back more but always looks as if he's not going to reach the ball.

Pronouns: He/Him

Calm down, I meant the way he runs rather than his abilities

Linighan was a much better defender. Captained our 91/92 title winning side. One of John Duncan's best signings. Wark and Linighan together at the back were a great team.

It was only in his later years when he got very slow that he wasn't up to the mark.

Poll: Would you support a permanent return to the old yellow Town badge?
