For me, I saw more 'passion and bottle for a derby' than any of the past 10 years.

Tough tackling, squaring up. Getting into them.

We haven't had that passion for years

We lost 3-0 and barely threatened to score. Get real.

It's time to make the best of it.

What's the score got to do with it, I haven't mentioned the score.

We won the midfield battle, we defended excellently. The difference was final third and the reason they are top and we are bottom. Not sure why people thought this might suddenly change against them?

I've seen a hell of a lot of posts from nodge fans, saying it was one of their least comfortable games to watch this season.

Past few years these games have been like a coffee morning, I can't remember a bad tackle even in the playoff game where so much was at stake.

The passion and fight were heartening.

We certainly did not defend excellently for the first goal, it was shambolic.

That's utter ballocks though isn't it. It's not even true of the other match against them this season.

'We performed well' is this season's 'play-off form'.

well clearly hence they scored 3 goals. But there's also minutes in the game around those goals.

People will find a stick to beat them with rather than look at the positives. Not sure what anyone expected against them tbh.

Or the second goal. Or the third really. Or when they went through two on one and fluffed it.

In the home game yes, it followed all previous nodge games,

this one though, I saw a different side to town that's not been seen for years. And with players who you wouldn't really expect to see the nasty from. It was great to watch

There's nothing positive about this season at all.

Sometimes passion can hide/make up for a lack of quality. I thought we out played them for large sections of the game but they looked like they were going to score whereas we just snatched at shots.

They have four quality players. Zimmerman is a proper captain. The young lad Aarons looked good. Then Pukki and also their winger both were different class. I only hope we can keep hold of Judge as he is getting better every week. So no doubt he will suffer a season ending injury shortly.
