For leaking confidential information.

Good. He's an utter cock.

Just seen an amazing stat. In the 23 months since the general election 47 ministers have resigned or been sacked from Theresa May's government. That's just about two a month.

And up until last Jine 103 members of Corbyn's front bench have resigned. That's obviously increased since then.

What an age we live in.

What kind of idiot would swear on their kids lives?

Tory ones it seems.

Sorry, am I missing something?

Most posters seem to be for imprisonment but I don't see much moral wrong in Williamson leaking details about Huawei.

Our government(s) has had an odd relationship with them for years despite warnings from Five Eyes partners who've ruled them out completely.

I've drawn cartoon posts on this thread with how it may be perceived in an alternative universe, but aren't the charges equally true?

Why are we welcoming potential Chinese state interference into our infrastructure?

The Americans are certainly making a lot of noise on this but perhaps it’s worth reflecting that they are of course keen to keep the majority of internet traffic to be routed through the states. ( I wonder why). This is the same USA that went apesh** when a young whistleblower (Snowden) exposed the fact that the NSA tapped into the servers of Google Apple, Facebook etc. to harvest data on their citizens and other users. They also spied in the same way on sources in Europe.

For alerting the world to these illicit activities Snowden got locked up 30 years.

Against that background I hesitate to accept the American comments at face value

No worse than Corbyn.

Well done Jas. (Very slow handclap).
