This is a hard time of year for a lot of people. Bombarded from all sides with images of a big happy family Christmas.

I had a somewhat amusing time watching the faces of misery in the supermarket today ..... it is hard work having fun nowadays it seems. People seemed to be either totally stressed out or, like me, quietly bemused.
