Ipswich v Oxford 09:55 - Feb 18 with 6249 views | Tommyparker | Visitors Oxford United have found that their FA Cup run to the fourth round has come at a heavy price. When they pitch up at Portman Road on Saturday it will be their 13th game in 2020. Their only league win in eight was a nervy 2-1 at home to Blackpool and they have dropped six places in a month and after selling key players in January. They had another four missing last week, with others short of full match-fitness.

Probably last chance saloon for any promotion push tonight. Failure to beat Wimbeldon at home and it will probably be too much for them.

Ipswich v Oxford on 11:38 - Feb 18 with 5831 views | Nthsuffolkblue | It really is in our own hands. The others have plenty of excuse for losing games. We need to make sure we win 6 more points than they do (or all except one of them). It is eminently possible but depends on us winning most of our games. Now is the time to play like we did Saturday consistently for the rest of the season.

Quite incredible, three different competitions. Will certainly put the full squad to the test.

You mean their manager isn't playing a second team in the cups and yet they are above us in the league? (I suspect they have been putting weakened sides out but just got further than us with them - and maybe far less weakened than we did. However, at this stage whether they still will is another question.)

Think majority of the last game were first team players: MacGiverllery/Burgess//Downing/Raggett/Close/Evans/Harness/Marquis/Hawkins/Harrison all featured last time out in the Trophy, everyone approaches it different though.

Oh don't you worry, Lambert, O'Neill, Chambers, Evans etc. will ALWAYS find excuses for our failures.

Portsmouth also have an EFL trophy semi final tonight against our conquerors Exeter with obviously a potential final to come against Newport or Salford. It will be interesting if Portsmouth can sustain their run of form. However, at the end of the season, Lambert will be hailed as a genius if we go up & an idiot if we don't.

To be fair to Lambert I think it was more from Christmas onwards (you know, when our poor run really got going).
