I’m pretty sure I did, whatever it was, it was something viral. Main symptom was utter fatigue. I put it down to not enough fresh air and a couple of unhealthy eating days. A few days later I could barely read a sentence, sent a text or finish an email. Everything was a massive chore and even after sleeping 7/8 hours there was no improvement, constantly wiped out for 10+ days. I thought the lockdown was either sending me mad or something was up. Towards the end started getting some aches and chills. Finally shock it off about a week ago. Was odd as not what you would associate with a normal virus as no cold. If it was it, luckily I had no respiratory stuff come with it. All that from just one trip to Whole Foods! I am not one to just get sick either.
Anyway now I’ve had I can surely find back to the office at the earliest opportunity! Jk

Bridget Riley at the Hayward.
Been a Bridget Riley fan ever since I bought 'The Faust Tapes' - her artwork was on the cover.
For you , footers, jeera and any other TWTD art luvvies can I give a heads up for series about paintings at MoMA, thirty quarter of an hour programmes!

Appreciate it Mellors.
Not for me but that says more about my knowledge possibly than the work, although it is all about taste as well as understanding.
And at least I could pronounce her name unlike Footers' Eduardo effort.
I was sort of thinking more of this standard, where I know where I stand.

If you're in an arty mood and fancy summat light, I'd suggest two BBC series... First is This is Modern Art by Matthew Collings. And then the brilliant What Do Artists Do All Day? Both available on YouTube.
P.S. Pow-lot-see

When you see those big stripe paintings, 10 foot tall and 12 wide in person and stood in front of it it's something else. You stand in front of it and your eyes seem to go off in all directions for a bit until you properly focus on it, then it starts coming alive.

Neither of those appealed to me but I do like to see new stuff even if it only to see if I'm interested or not.
How else do we discover new horizons eh?
So I was only joking and am not as ungrateful as I sound.
I am looking through a site or 2 online to buy a couple of wall space fillers though and all inspiration is welcome.
I think I saw some of those Bridget Riley type patterned duvet sets in Dunelm not so long back.
