I’m pretty sure I did, whatever it was, it was something viral. Main symptom was utter fatigue. I put it down to not enough fresh air and a couple of unhealthy eating days. A few days later I could barely read a sentence, sent a text or finish an email. Everything was a massive chore and even after sleeping 7/8 hours there was no improvement, constantly wiped out for 10+ days. I thought the lockdown was either sending me mad or something was up. Towards the end started getting some aches and chills. Finally shock it off about a week ago. Was odd as not what you would associate with a normal virus as no cold. If it was it, luckily I had no respiratory stuff come with it. All that from just one trip to Whole Foods! I am not one to just get sick either.
Anyway now I’ve had I can surely find back to the office at the earliest opportunity! Jk

Early March, I had a dry cough with pretty much no other symptoms, a couple of days where I felt hot but no temperature. A few days after that went, I got a wet and very productive cough and coughed up some nasty coloured phlegm. I lost my voice and had a sore throat but felt OK. After 4/5 days, I started getting a tight chest/breathing issues (not bad enough to call 111, but was quite panicky). I then had 4/5 days of being totally shattered and spent most of that time in bed, just tired.
That eventually went and I felt ok. However, last Sunday after a run I had a pain in my chest and my breathing hasn’t been quite right since. I decided to contact my doctor yesterday as I was starting to get quite worried as it has lasted so long. She came back to me and said that she reckoned I had had a mild case and that lots of people had complained of chest issues for quite some time after having it. She said keep and eye on it and hopefully it will get better! She said to contact her in two weeks if it was still bad!
I also had conjunctivitis and pains in my groin (had the groin pain today!)
I guess I’ll never know for sure unless I get an antibody test, but I don’t suppose I will. Nobody else in my house has come down with any symptoms though (I did isolate in the spare room though!)
I still don’t feel quite right though!

I had something whIch I thought wasn't C-19, as the symptoms didn't quite match (persistent dry cough, which went on for weeks, about 10 days of bad stomach problems, a nasty metallic taste in the mouth, nausea when faced with food, lack of energy - but no noticeable fever, tightness on the chest or breathing difficulties). However, the list of symptoms has changed and now more closely matches what I had. Friend of mine had roughly the same thing at the same time (this was right at the start, beginning before lockdown came in), tho he did have fever.
Didn't bother seeking a medical opinion, so I'll never know unless they develop a working test which can detect whether you've had it, but not currently got it and hand that out to everybody. Fine now, apart from the occasional cough.

Trust your family stay strong, people are pulling through every day for sure (I have relatives affected but not as close as this).best wishes to you.
Thank you. She is responding well to treatment and will be in for at least another week, so I’m having to self isolate with Yasmin. KJ’s boys have both been staying at their girlfriends so hopefully we’ll cope!

Still not sure at all with me as it is identical to stuff I have suffered for over a year now. But I am feeling more and more shattered, can barely function and really have to push myself to do any small task. Have a permanently tight chest, constricted throat and shortness of breath that my inhaler does not relieve. I am so depressed, to the point I want to just sleep forever and cannot stop crying. Ihave various aches and pains, but no temperature or cough. I do get a dry throat that gives me a choking fit when asleep occasionally, but that was happening last year. I feel even more terrified since Thursday in town and some woman in the queue for Sainsburys who was smoking was just coughing everywhere - the security man said nothing. I stayed in the shop as did not want to walk through her germs - and she came in where I was stood and started to cough again. I am now convinced I am a goner. Feel really sad for a friend of mine who lost his mother to this, she had been in hospital for a month with pneumonia and was improving - had 3 tests, all negative and then she suddenly got worse and died.

I think I have, had what I thought was flu but it just totally knocked me out, ended up having 4 days off work and when I worked in between those days was finishing at 3 and just sleeping though. Never been so tired and achey, even went to the Dr which I never do who said flu but that was before all that kicked off
A few days later my wife had something much worse, never seen her so ill - could barely walk or function for 2-3 days. Again was said to be flu because she hadn’t just got back from Italy - a few days later and she’d have had to be tested as it all changed then.
Obviously can’t be sure
Ive had proper flu twice years back. Believe me, its pretty bad. You were lucky if you only had 4 days off with flu. It knocked me for 6 for over a week both times and took about 3 weeks to fully recover. Real flu isnt nice. So, christ knows what this virus is like.

Thank you Godzilla - I do like My Life Story very much. Great song.
I cannot see how I can feel better - not able to see my doctors as they are closed apart from phone appointments. Still waiting for ENT referral about the odd thing growing inside my nose and it blocks me breathing through it, but will it ever get seen now? I do worry if that is cancer or something, I know people on here think I am a hypocondriac, but the pain is real. I am even short of breath eating my breakfast as I read this, and just hope its hormonal and the fact I have ectopic heartbeats. I really wanted to get better this year but feel this is now impossible as I can't see this virus ever ending to allow appointments to resume.

I went to London for an art exhibition in January and the week after I was wiped out by a bug that kept me on the couch for a week with CV symptoms, the first time in 8 years I'd had time off work sick other than cutting parts of my fingers off. Properly wiped me out, but nobody I've been in contact with since then has shown any symptoms of it so it probably wasn't it.

Glad you recovered, whatever it was.
What exhibition was it? Anything exciting?
Don't s'pose there's a link to something I could nose through to entertain me for half hour?

It's definitely not the Melford show, but one of the best exhibitions I've been to in recent years was Paolozzi at Whitechapel Gallery. Short little video on there, but an incredible artist who worked in so many styles and media. Incredible life story too if you don't know about him. Might keep you entertained for three minutes :)
