Leyton Orients 'worst ever players' features three ex Town players on 12:42 - Aug 19 by Libero | Was Scales injured all the time? I thought he was just brought in as back up with a bit of Premier League experience and to replace Tony Mowbray as the elder statesman in the squad? [Post edited 19 Aug 2020 12:43]

I think he was brought in for a bit of balance.

Probably a good move, needed someone to help with the weight on the players. [Post edited 19 Aug 2020 12:50]

Scales was 34 when he signed, but I think Burley thought he might be fit enough to make more than the 2 appearances which he managed. Yes, he was always injured, then just about to be fit & then broke down again. It didn't matter at the time because the team were playing so well.

Always seemed a fishy signing to me.

Who was that lad we had on loan that would score, get sent off, return from suspension and repeat? I think it was around the same time as Jeffers?
