Toto on 20:09 - Sep 26 by GeoffSentence | He did rather more than one bad pass in the first half. He defended well, but we had to defend a lot more than we should have because he kept giving the ball away. That said, he then made one really good through ball and after that he didn't do much wrong. |
First quarter. There were plenty of players misplacing passes including Wilson and Ward at the back - Wilson especially had a period of kicking it off the pitch. Yes, overall he was very good. SB [Post edited 26 Sep 2020 20:20]

Pedants should really get things right when being pedantic, especially when the post they are being pedantic about referred to the first quarter. Otherwise it just looks a bit embarrassing. Oh don't be so defensive Stokie. Let me read your post a few times to see if it makes sense. Hmmm. Not sure Oh ok. So he didnt make those bad passes in the first quarter - is that what you are saying? He made them in the second quarter? In which case you aren't very observant to say he had a bad first quarter; because clearly all his bad passes must have been in the second. But really why are we bothering with this rather childish post? My point is that he made 3 very poor passes - not one. Two of which at least put us under alot of pressure. I will say he looked strong, brave and defended well. But he has to improve on the passing. [Post edited 26 Sep 2020 21:10]

I agree it's all a bit childish but I would also point out it does make sense and if you read my posts from the original one they all make sense and are in context :). Glad we agree he played well overall, I think the passing in general will be fine if he can keep it short to Dozzell. Will be interesting to see how many matches he plays this year. SB | | | |
