Any word on the results of his COVID test?

I like Jackson and think he's improved massively, but with the exception of cannot finish, I think there's an argument for all of that. Maybe just not worded quite so strongly.

Stop being so sensible!!

Herbie wants an argument and knows best.

There's no real argument to be had here, but yes I do know best thanks.

He'll probably be over the worst of the Covid but pick up a knock getting back from the test centre.

He loves a downvote too I've noticed, rather than a considered debate.

You're not really offering a considered debate and nor is Wally. Happy to have one.

Clearly you're not as I've offered it and had no response from you. You appear to just want someone to argue the opposite to you, if there is any middle ground to be hand you revert to the old downvote button.

Thank goodness our rehab team weren't administering the test, "Jackson expected to miss season with hole through head"

Your middle ground wasn't really a middle ground though. You weren't inviting any kind of discussion either, just more or less agreeing with someone who has already acknowledged that their view on Jackson isn't fair and balanced. You did similar on the Knudsen thread the other day if I recall and then ended up tying yourself in knots. Nobody wants to see that again.

My view on Jacko is perfectly fair and balanced.

I stick by my four points on him and yes despite scoring goals at the beginning of last season, I don't think he's a finisher.

He deson't fit this system, he may have improved from when he first arrived, but then he reverted back again (in my view).

Do you watch him play live? Watch his movement on the ball, near to the ball and away from the ball? (yes I have done a lot of coaching courses, ha).

I just don't think he is that good.

I don't understand why you can't say "fair enough, thats your opinion, but I don't agree" and be done with it.

I've seen him plenty live, I was a season ticket holder up until this season and usually catch a few away games every season too. I think your characterisation of him isn't fair and balanced at all, you readily dismiss any positives whilst repeating the same points that have been challenged with evidence by the likes of me and Stokie.

But let's go with fair enough, that's your opinion and I disagree.

That'd be the Knudsen thread where essentially you accused me of getting my facts wrong, then promptly got your facts wrong.

Nevermind, I'm learning that despite how quick you are to bash others, you're not someone it's possible to actually have a balanced debate with as you're not interested in actually considering anyone else's opinion if it differs from your own. It's just binary this versus that every time, with a few insults thrown in for good measure. Pretty childish tbh. Despite clearly being intelligent and articulate, you seem to have very little humility and just post for the "win". Toxic stuff.

I didn't get any facts wrong, you were the one who was being really inaccurate in your account of the situation and you ignored most of what myself and Joe (maybe others too) were pointing out to you. No need to wet your knickers over it.

You insisted Hurst was solely to blame for Knudsen's contract situation not being sorted out prior to the world cup, despite Hurst only taking the job about a week before and refused to acknowledge that McCarthy and Evans had months to tie him down.

And thank you for illustrating my point so brilliantly regarding the playground stuff too.

I'm done, you crack on.

I never said anything about prior to the World Cup? I blamed him for not opening talks that summer, which is perfectly right. Yeah the numbskulls would have loved a departing Mick rewarding one of his decent pros with a new contract just before departing. I don't know how you can have read the many responses to you on that thread and still be getting it so wrong.

Cool story bro, actually what you did was refuse to acknowledge that Hursts earliest opportunity to open talks was when Knudsen came back from the world cup, already in the final year of his deal. Anybody who has even a layman's understanding of contract negotiations knows that once a player is in his final year, they hold all of the cards. It clearly should have been addressed long before Hurst came through the door, so to lay the blame solely at his feet is pretty silly.

Oh well, I'm sure you'll continue to argue black is white and misrepresent what other people post while refusing to acknowledge the holes in your own argument. Spray some more insults and downvotes around, that'll do it.
