Nothing new here. 20:51 - Oct 20 with 905 viewshomer_123

A tougher test...not up to the mark tonight.

As we have seen for a while now...against better teams we get punished for basic errors.

We got away with Saturday's performance. Low and behold....not tonight against a better, more organised team.

Injury issues aside....this performance and result feels all too familiar.

Deja vu.

As soon as we went behind, you could just SEE that the players' heads had gone, they didnt know what to do. They are good enough to compete with Doncaster, they showed that in the first 20-25. Their confidence just completely fell away.

Totally this. Very worrying, but I'll keep my powder dry :)

They look sooo nervous as soon as they see they will be punished if they let teams in. There is no plan B, and little mettle. Same old.

How can their confidence go after an unbeaten run of seven league games, just because we went behind?

Its a fair question but on tonights evidence....its clear Holy and Nsiala are clearly struggling with confidence. Andcgor obvious reasons.

I got that wrong too - it was six games unbeaten!

Have to think Cornell and Woolfenden will be under consideration for Saturday.

Because we realised we were up against a better team and we are fragile and have no plan B?

Because it was just an off night, for whatever reason?

Let's hope to fook it's the second reason. Also players come back. So too early to get our knickers in a twist imo.

They looked like a bunch of Nam vets, like they were having flashbacks. Looked just as mentally weak as they did last year

Same old same old! Confidence very fragile again.

We really do not have the fight this Division needs. We saw that last season. As soon as things go against us we fold.

The worrying thing is that’s the first time we’ve gone behind this season. The first time we’ve gone behind and we mentally collapsed.

We will keep making excuses about improved performances and tactics until it is too late for a 3rd time
