If that's a penalty then football is now a no contact sport (n/t) on 16:48 - Oct 24 by Mullet | If it was Edwards at the other end we’d be screaming for it. You just can’t and don’t need to give the ref a decision when a player runs at you like that. Stupid from Toto when he just had to stand him up and make him run it out |
Same thing did happen to Edwards in the first half, but he stayed on his feet :-(

What a transformation you said. He’s like a different player you said. Now, who’s going to admit they said the above? Nobody will is my guess. |
Some seemed to blame the fans i seem to remember !

I will admit it and stand by it. He has been a great player for us this season up until the last two games. I never pretended that didn't mean he might have a performance like Tuesday's in him still. He has, however, had performances that have seen him in the League 1 team of the week and been defensively solid. He had also produced a fantastic through ball from defence to set a player through at some point and switched play with fantastic cross-field passes at times. However, he had got away with some poor passes at times and didn't get away with anything in these two matches. I suspect he will be dropped after today and he cannot argue too much with that either. However, I do think he was hard done by with the penalty decision. As mentioned above, if that was a penalty, the challenge on Bishop was a foul and the Edwards one in the box where he chose not to go to ground was a penalty too.
