He just doesn't want to admit his team didn't deserve the three points. Whether we would've went on to win or not doesn't matter, we certainly deserved a point (at least) from this game.

All manager's do that. They're all utterly dishonest because they want to make themselves look good and thus keep their job.

Of course he wouldn't, managers only see what they want to see especially if it works in their favour then they invariably fully back the decision, until it happens to them.
