Was thinking the same thing Pretty sure with the advent of the salary cap being implemented and taking away any advantage we might have had this surely would (if used wisely and correctly) benefit our squad ...right ? |  |

It’s rare that you look at our substitute bench and wish we had been able to bring on the 4th / 5th available options. In my impression, we’ve been notably more effective in the second half / latter stages of games this season. I think that’s a direct consequence of still limited creativity, but playing possession football (even if on half way line) which tires the opposition and opens space in midfield. Extra subs would enable them to continue to press higher up the pitch and close down the extra space. [Post edited 18 Nov 2020 12:02]
