TWTD 90's rock and metal crowd. 07:28 - Dec 12 with 759 viewsBlueBadger

Chris Cornell(Soundgarden) has just dropped a posthumous album out of the blue

Been listening to it whilst I type up my notes and it's rather lovely, if a touch cheesey at times.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Yeah I heard the cover of Patience but GN'R when it was first released, thought it was dire. Real shame because he had such a fantastic voice

Saw Soundgarden with Faith No more and GnR in 1992. They were superb. He was a talented guy.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Nah, we went up to Gateshead. It was a boiling hot day but a cracking gig. One of the best, if not the best I’ve been to and we’ll worth the sunstroke.

Nothing beats Badmotorfinger. Along with Dirt by AIC the best albums to come out of Seattle in the early 90s.

Poll: Would you support a permanent return to the old yellow Town badge?

Cornell, is arguably the finest male singer of his generation of musicians, bar maybe Mike Patton.

I'd put him top as a frontman from the late 80s/early 90s bands. I saw Soundgarden in Dublin in 1994 and they fantastic, just a brilliant band.

Patton very good but Faith No More couldn't touch the 'Garden live.
