If Scotland Yard told the government they have info that a bomb is going to go off in central London sometime between the 23rd and 27th of December the government would immediately cordon the area off and ban anyone from entering to save lives. The medical people tell the government the consequences of opening up over Xmas is the very real scenario of hundreds more deaths .... and nothing. I'm at a loss to understand it all now to be honest.
