Makes one proud to be British. on 18:39 - Dec 22 by gtsb1966 | Hmmmm curry. Three thousand truckers sharing 10 bogs. What could go wrong. |
Sikh food, in my experience, is generally lighter tempered rather than the heavily spiced muck we're used to being served in the Bangladeshi 'Indian' restaurants. I used to regularly visit a couple of fantastic little places on the Narborough in Leicester, both vegetarian, and the food was simple but wonderful. Same as some family friends down Whitechapel way, the wife would often bring enough food into the wholesalers there to share around and it was very much a similar style. The opposite side of the Narborough Road there was a Muslim run joint that did stronger meat and fish based stuff. Equally good, but an entirely different style. | |
