So...none of the vaccines are proven to stop people catching Covid. 18:02 - Dec 30 with 3062 viewshomer_123

Merely promotes an immune response.....

...I wonder how well this has been explained.

'And as with the other vaccines, scientists don't yet know if it stops people catching Covid - that's something they won't know until they can see the impact of vaccination over time.'

People are just interpreting Homer's post wrong.

He's just pointing out that because it doesn't stop people 'catching covid' that many will think there is no point in taking it.

I had to re-read it because I thought it was downplaying as well. But it's a good point, perhaps badly made.

Agree.

And Homer is one of those who could maybe need a load of people piling in a lot less than plenty of others deserve.

Disagree with footers. Nothing against Homer but if we're talking about people being put off by the virus then highlighting that the current evidence suggests the vaccine only does what a vaccine is supposed to do is a bit odd.

Truly impaired.

I would guess his post was assuming some level of understanding on here whilst referring to the wider population in general.

So a point of discussion rather than targeting users on this forum.

Don't be silly.

And don't accuse me of baiting someone I've had on ignore for 6 months you toad.

Edit: No response? I'm not waiting all night. The only time I get involved with posters I have on ignore is when they go out of their way to bait me.

Got a problem with that, then speak to admin. In future make sure you have a point before posting that sh1t at me.

No I'm irritated because of this opinion that you and a handful have, and have held in the past, that if you see people you consider to be of a particular view, that they are somehow all one person.

I am aware that *** argues with the same people day in/day out but I generally ignore it unless *** starts following me about looking to stir me up. As you seem to be intent on.

"People associated with you".

Fair comment , no I know that you are your own person , also unless provoked you always seem to offer a balanced opinion , but quite often you must admit that you and a couple of , I won’t say mates but a couple of you with the same opinion seem to gang up on others with different opinions , is that fair

You could always wear a full-body condom if you want to definitely stop yourself from catching it.

But if you do, don't go and get the vaccination. You don't want a little prick in a big condom.

It's impossible to prevent catching a virus, under normal circumstances*.

However, immunity (natural or vaccine-acquired) will stop it from spreading within the body and thus the associated illness from developing.

* i.e. not being in complete isolation, sterile environment, wearing a full rebreather, etc.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
