No. Promotion is still the bottom line for this season and while that is still a possibility (not far off the top 6 at least) then his job is safe - for now.
I would like to win but regardless of today's result I cannot see achieving the above with things as they are at the moment.
I think we all live in remote hope that with a full fit squad it will just all of a sudden click in, with a certain starting XI becoming the obvious choice, and off we shoot up the table. Wishful thinking but you do have to have your dreams. [Post edited 16 Jan 2021 11:43]

We're well past the tipping point for 90% plus of us, unfortunately our owner is in the fewer than 10% of people who think Lambert is worth persisting with. It's mind boggling that Lambert is still in a job and that a sacking doesn't even look close, but that's where we're at. The result today won't change it, Evans seems to have decided - based on what I do not know - that Lambert is his man. |  |
