How the HELL have we got in this bloody predicament!? 23:30 - Jan 23 with 894 viewsCoco

RIDICULOUS! What a total shower of incompetence! They actually gave him a five year deal! This is surely not really happening? Feck me!

EVANS F OFF and take your Lambert with you! You’ve totally killed us. None of your nonsense patronising words can fix this.

Stop overreacting ffs :)

We're a mile off promotion in the third division. It's fine.

We've had three shots on target in the last two games. That's fine.

We've been beaten at home by a team that didn't have a shot on target. Lol, cool huh? Pub quiztastic!

MEG is going bust and therefore ITFC. Well done Marcus! Stop doubling down and staring Lambert down ffs. You are an idiot.

It's so embarrassing. "Oh no one knows my financial blah blah, or what my plans blah blah..." Arf.

It's impressive how Evans has managed to both under AND over-spend on ITFC. When he decides to splash the cash it's invariably in the wrong direction(Lambert's contract, Keane's transfer budget) and when he makes 'savings'(not backing Mick McCarthy in the transfer market, no investment in club infrastructure) they invariably end up costing the club more in the end.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

He’s got the un-magic touch for sure! If there’s a way to make a bad decision and then double down on that decision, Marcus is your guy.

Leon Best to replace Daryl Murphy and you wonder this club has been on the slide. One of the many examples.

Our using Mings' money to fund the deals for Coke, Toure, Malarczyk, Yorwerth. Remarkably though Evans had thousands of happy clappers who were defending him for all his decisions.

You’ve said it in your first sentence.

Incompetence.

The priority should be assembling the best possible team and adding quality to it on each transfer window.

Evans focus is containing how much money he has to contribute each year. He likes to sell his best players to help him control the money he puts in.

He also saved himself the fees to go category one but left himself exposed to category one team swooping in for his best youths (most of which are leaving the club before they make the first team)
This issue could be avoided by going category one.
