When did Leeds become a team you can actually like? on 16:01 - Jan 31 with 491 views | Churchman | They’ll always be Dirty Leeds to me, not least because my golf buddy and ex-boss are from there and it’s all I’ve got left on them! Secretly I do like the way they play though. Leeds is a nice city too.

When did Leeds become a team you can actually like? on 16:06 - Jan 31 with 463 views | Radlett_blue | Dirty Leeds were immensely dislikeable during the Revie era, which was when I started watching football. The saving grace was that they didn't win as many trophies as they should, largely down to Revie's caution. They were the first team I remember trying to keep the ball in the corner of the pitch in order to protect a 1 goal lead. They became less dislikeable when they became unsuccessful, but having Ken Bates as owner & Dennis Wise as manager didn't do them any favours. I still find it hard to forgive their support for their hostility when Town played at Elland Road in 2007, although I do love the football they play under Bielsa.
