We are a good team we are just not playing the right formation, we need 2 up front as most fans can see and have been calling for the last 2 seasons, Lamberts ethos has been failing for too long now its time he swallowed his pride and changes the formation, play to the players strengths for a change cos for whatever reason their strengths are not showing Lamberts way!
Also what Rich said about not being able to walk away from the club is 100% true for me too even though Evans is killing our club with his whole attitude to running it!

I explained in my answer as to why I think we are a good team, we need to play to our strengths in order to become the team I think we can be and are inhibited in doing so by playing the wrong formation every game!
"if this lot got back up" = If they do then obv changes to the playing staff would be made so the point you are trying to make here is moot!
How championship players do we have! Depends if you take out the ones who have had firm interest from premiership clubs and start to count from their really? I'd say with their inclusion 7-8 but again its all about opinion! | | | |

I don't get this thought that we're much better with two up front, we played with two up front for most of last season and weren't very good then. This season we've hardly done it at all. Think the turnaround in the Plymouth game, where we played more of a 4-4-1-1 anyway, was more down to the sending off than the change of system and yesterday we scored largely due to a defensive cock-up rather than anything else. |  | | |

But Phil one could argue that had we not reverted to 2 up front yesterday that their defensive cock up would not have happened and therefore it would be another loss!
The whole point is the one up front isn't working, he could try bringing the two wide men in a little further so they are close to the lone striker, the way Lambert plays it means there is no one running into the little channels at the edge of the box therefore the lone striker had no one to lay it off to and is out numbered by the opposition defence time and time again, the only true target man we have is Norwood and if he is not playing or starting the game them one up front is pointless!

I'm not sure the system is necessarily the issue. I think we look so poorly drilled at the passing game we're trying to play above all else, and we don't seem to have many ideas other than passing it around, getting it wide, then sending in a cross from around the 18-yard line, which usually gets headed out by the first defender.
