Football after COVID and iFollow 12:07 - Feb 21 with 3398 views | GlasgowBlue | Now that iFollow has opened up a Pandora's Box of streaming every game live during the pandemic, can we ever go back to not being able to watch our games live on the TV? Nothing beats the matchday experience and if it was possible to get to every game home and away then I would. But it isn't possible and judging from the posts on here, there are an awful lot of Town fans who don't live anywhere near Ipswich. As poor as the football has been, I've seen more of Town this season than I have in the past five. I would imagine that is also the case for a lot of people on here. So can we ever go back to the way things were? As for the argument that it would affect the number of people attending the game live, I would suggest charging the same price as a match day ticket (£25) to watch a game on iFollow.

Football after COVID and iFollow on 17:22 - Feb 21 with 205 views | TJS | I think it could badly hit the number of fans going to away games if they were all available on ifollow which would make the match day experience even more dull. Combine that with having to wait 30 seconds checking VAR for every other goal and I think it would be the end for me.

Football after COVID and iFollow on 15:02 - Feb 21 by hadleighboyblue | It might depend on when we get back to live football and whether social distancing would still apply . If that's not clear by the time ST renewals come out , I can see lots plumping for i follow , assuming it's still available . |
Yes that's true. There could well be a slow easing and hybrid of measures for a while. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I think I'd always pick a live game if I could, but I'd imagine numbers would be dropping off quite a bit now if it was in normal times. ST renewals could be fairly disappointing this year - a double whammy of Covid and crap mood about the place.
