It's all hypothetical. If you had said to me or any fan of the team back in 2002 when dropping out the EPL it would take another 20 plus years to make it back you would not have believed it. Been so long now since involvement at the elite level and we're playing third league "football" right now amid turbulent times, not going to start getting ahead of oneself envisaging something that may not happen or take a whole while longer than one could imagine.
Best guess be realistic about where we find ourselves. Need a competent manager with ideas and ambition, is Paul Cook good for that ? Some will be skeptical, but focus has to be on promotion from this league and back to Championship before you can ideally plan ahead on swimming with the big fish. Today's news was encouraging for sure but don't want to run before you can walk in so many terms. |  | | |
