Cheltenham Festival - Day 3 Preview on 14:13 - Mar 18 by Johnny_Boy | A couple of stray horses nearly messed everything up! |
They helped me! I had Champagne Platinum who was lagging before the stragglers pushed others out the way

Had I not gone for the eye-watering price of Kansas, I was looking at Champagne. 2nd & 4th EW place money again. Fakir & Kalashnikov. [Post edited 18 Mar 2021 15:02]

Cheltenham Festival - Day 3 Preview on 17:29 - Mar 18 with 883 views | Rozz | Really mixed day with Envoi and Plan of Attack falling, and I narrowly missed out on a Mount Ida Shantou Flyer forecast right at the death at 29.74 which would've put me well ahead. That being said, I backed Chantry House, Mrs Milner, Tellmesomethinggirl and Mount Ida to varying degrees, the latter running a phenomenal 2nd half. Small stakes and a few bets per race but I'm up 3.5x on my stake on Tuesday, which is more than enough to keep me glued to it all day. Bet of the day was a friend of mine with a Trixie: Mrs Milner, Tellmesomethinggirl and Mount Ida. Absolute scenes when Mount Ida came through the entire field to clinch it. £1521.88 off a tenner.

Cheltenham Festival - Day 3 Preview on 13:52 - Mar 18 by hype313 | Rommers, how are you doing? appreciate that was a bit of a kick in the balls. |
Took me a few minutes to clear my head. But it’s just a race lads. It’s only money. And I’m in the green after the Wednesday high so I can’t moan. I’ve actually ended up up today with plenty of the each way bets placing and the Allaho antepost win. But yeah the envoi result really was a tough pill to take

I bet, but you have had some good wins recently, sometimes you have to take the rough hits to appreciate the highs. Bet that guy was happy with his £250k cash out...

Top Notch placed 3rd at 50/1. Drifted from 28/1 to 50/1 by the off. https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/results/2021-03-18/cheltenham/606510/paddy-p That was a great shout at each way. Here is what you wrote for that in your excellent write up yesterday: "TOP NOTCH (28/1 E/W - 6 places) ran poorly last time but will be fitter and was once an old force. At the prices, I would be inclined to see if he can bounce back to his best even off top weight." Well impressed with that cheers. Enjoy the racing today everybody.
