Yeah because I just felt like picking on Club captain for 9 years just for the sake it
what's your evidence, that he's a passionate, driven, club captain who has given everything he has to the role over the past 3 years.
It's the last three years now is it? Not nine?
Examples of his passion:
> Fist pumps after wins > Celebration at Carrow Road when he scored > Basically holding the club together with Skuse when Hurst was here > The fact he's remained captain under at least four different managers
If you just want to say you don't think he's good enough any more then fine. You're being unfair though based on nothing.

You chose 9 years not me, my point was he's been part of the current squad that's been involved in the downfall over the past 3 years..
I didn't say he was never passionate, or never a good captain, but he's been captain during our downfall over the past 3 years and in that time we've had players come and go, yet he's remained captain - of course managers decision, but imo he's shown no captaincy qualities since Mick. IT might be as you said earlier, he's downbeat, Fine, but maybe its best for both of us that he moved on. it doesn't mean I dont rate the guy.

What does that prove? That the squad's been crap. Tells you nothing about his passion.
Go back through other games and even when goals conceded, there is 0 change in chambers mindset.

Watching them without the commentary on iFollow you can hear him pretty loudly throughout the matches. Cherry picking moments where he doesn't say anything is stupid, you could easily do that for any player.
Whatever he does or doesn't do people find an excuse to moan - if he doesn't scream and shout when a goal goes in then he's got no passion; if he does then people have a go at him for needing to sort himself out before pointing the finger at others.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

clearly not going to agree with this, so we'll just have to see what PC does.
No because I look at the evidence and then decide what it means.
You pick a stand and then try and make the evidence fit.
I gave you specific examples. You give me feelings and vague meaningless comments.
PC might well release him because he might think we can get better. I am not arguing for Chambers to get a new deal. I am simply saying there's no evidence he's not a passionate captain.

lol, i've posted evidence on why i feel the way I do, im not going to sit here, and paste links to each game for you to see it.
it's not acceptable to you so you continue claiming i have no evidence, where as a few first pumps 4 years ago apparently shows he's still passionate now...
Could you provide evidence Chambers held the team together with Skuse under Hurst?
end of the day, I've rated chambers since he's been here, I still see him as a solid option at CB or RB, BUT we need a fresh start and players who aren't as you call it 'downbeat' on being here

Thoughts and opinions aren't evidence. You have to resort to those because you have no actual evidence.
There is no evidence for Chambers/Skuse/Hurst (see? I hold myself to the same standard) BUT this forum was filled with proven ITK people telling us what was happening behind the scenes. One example was Hurst not caring about certain post match analysis so Skuse and Chambers had the team around their houses to go through it themselves.

You can see that in different ways
It can be your vision of holding the team together
Personally I see that as undermining the new manager and the way he does things, what other meetings do they hold behind the managers back?
You've got this opinion that the forum is only a place for factual evidence based posts, it's not, it's a place to share your views, doesnt matter where they come from, all views are different, I accept your views, might not agree with them, but I dont spend the time to ask for evidence of your views and take each post of thought of yours as fact.
If we're going on ITK posts etc, is it not a worry that the club captain didn't stay behind at training last week?

Oh god I give up.
That entire post is such BS. I know it's a place for discussion. I've never said it's only a place for evidence. If you're going to post something though you might be asked for evidence. I'm not even saying you're definitely wrong. I am saying there's no proof and there is SOME PROOF for the opposite.
All this squabbling like little children and most of it off topic. The title was being about Evans past failure and possibly more failure to come when contracts are up for grabs.
I.d say 9 players have to be released , any advances on 9 ? ( Out of those 9, i,d say 5 senior players to be released.)
