Christ alive, I mean, I know it's all part of the ritual, but 'bloke in cheap suit/tracksuit stands up to spout cliches at bored journalists' is probably the single most disposable part of the MatchDay Experience.
It's up there with looking forward to the post-match traffic jam and Bedsheet Rich on Sport on Suffolk.
Although, you can at leats blow off some steam calling BR some rude names. | |
