Its been mentioned on here now and again that we have not been producing quality strikers through our Academy. The Coaches Voice recently had an article from a Naaaarch coach that we might take note of. Basically every new outfield player entering their Academy gets tried as a striker first to see whether they have the basic skillset to possibly develop in that role. Their reasoning is - good strikers are the most valuable players and the most costly to buy in. If they can unearth latent striking talent that player will be worth a big transfer fee at least even if he doesn't nail down a place in the first team. Thoughts on that?

Anything would be better than our current 'apparent' route of running the academy which appears to be get as many youngsters in as many same positions as possible.
