Edwards should never play again for this club, you could see he was doing just enough to look like he was trying. It was that slightly over hit pass or first touch, easy to do, just like making someone else look poor by putting the ball just in front or short. These players have probably got a bet on to see if they can make some money on not scoring. Just as well as they will be on their bikes come June, as for Bennetts is he actually a professional footballer? Utterly dreadful. He got the extra points for the converted try with his free kick and gained good line out territory with his corner, but on the other side of the pitch!! I’m not sure Edwards will be on many set pieces now. I just wonder do our players actually practise them? Our delivery generally is woeful and has been for a long time. | |
